Flagler Beach Bridge Replacement

Included in this contract was the construction of a multi-lane cast-in-place Florida Bulb T concrete bridge with approximately 245,410 sf of deck. The bridge includes 44,980 lf of 18-inch and 24-inch concrete piling, 21,500 cy of CIP concrete, 2,200 tn of rebar, 505,000 lb of post tensioning, 25,000 lf of bulb T girders, and 1,000 lf of bridge drain pipe. Bridge demolition included an existing bascule bridge with 9,200 sf of deck. Also included was 31,000 sf of reinforced earth wall. The roadway work included maintenance of traffic, clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment and 38,500 sy of stabilization, constructing 35,448 sy of optional base, 35,000 sy of asphalt, 70 ea drainage structures, 5,200 lf of pipe, curb and gutter, valley gutter, concrete barrier wall, sidewalk, riprap, fencing, sodding, signalization, signing, pavement markings, and lighting.
