Project Description
The Lake Mary WTP project is located at 8,000 ft in the mountains surrounding Flagstaff, Arizona. The facility is the City of Flagstaff's only treatment plant, treating surface water coming from the nearby Lake Mary. The project consists of building a new four cell sand/media filtration complex and structurally modifying the existing settling basins by demolishing the existing filtration system and constructing a 150 ft concrete flume and eight 30' finger weirs to channel the effluent to the new filtration complex. PCL has teamed up with both the owner and engineer to coordinate and perform the numerous plant shutdowns and tie-ins to the existing facilities so water service to the city will not be adversely affected.
