Avondale WWTP Dewatering Equipment & Solids Handling Facilities

This project consisted of two sections of work, the first was construction of a Feed Pump Station which included installation of two sludge pumps and associated structure, piping, electrical and instrumentation and connection to existing sludge holding tank. The second portion of the contract was construction of a Solids Handling Facility. The work associated with this facility included providing and erecting a pre-engineered building, including all associated structural, architectural and electrical work, installing pre-purchased centrifuges and providing associated piping, electrical and controls components. Providing and installing a dry polymer system with all associated piping, electrical and controls, installing conveyors for sludge load-out area with associated supports, piping, electrical; provide and install foul air ducting system and all electrical panels and other appurtenances.
